Our 2023-24 Princeton in Africa Annual Report is now live.
Dear Friends of PiAf,
As we reflect on another incredible year, it is with great pride and gratitude that I share with you the milestones and achievements of Princeton in Africa (PiAf). Thanks to your unwavering support, we have continued to deepen our impact across the African continent, empowering young leaders to make significant and lasting contributions in collaboration with our dynamic host organization partners.
In addition to stepping into our 25th Anniversary, this year marked a significant milestone with the official launch of our Nexus program – an opportunity for young leaders who are graduates of African universities, citizens of African countries, and residents on the continent, to participate as Fellows. More information on this trailblazing initiative, including bios of our first cohort of Nexus Fellows, can be found within the report.
PiAf’s 2023-24 Fellows each brought a unique story and a shared commitment to creating positive change. Working in diverse sectors—from education and healthcare to agriculture and technology—they demonstrated the breadth of talent and dedication that is essential to supporting Africa’s ongoing growth and development. Through their commitment to their fellowship, these young leaders not only developed invaluable skills, but also left a lasting legacy through their collaborative, innovative, and community-driven mindset.
The power of Princeton in Africa’s program – a collaborative effort on behalf of our Fellows, Alumni, Staff, Board Members, Donors, and Host Organization Partners – is on full display within the pages of this year’s report. We extend our deepest gratitude to all those who play a role in supporting our mission as we continue to develop a generation of global changemakers.
