Since her fellowship, she has worked at Poverty Action Lab, attended grad school at Harvard Law School and Harvard Kennedy School (where she got her MPA/ID), and worked at McKinsey….
…Alumni Update: Immediately after PiAf, Amaka attended law school, and then clerked with a federal judge for a year. She then went on to work in the international arbitration practice of the global law firm Shearman & Sterling. In January, she quit to work with a think tank based in Nigeria. She also had a baby last year who’s turning 1 on May 7!…
In 1999, a group of Princeton alumni, faculty, and staff launched Princeton in Africa as an independent affiliate of Princeton University inspired by the University's informal motto, "Princeton in the Nation's Service and in the Service of All Nations." Since our launch in 1999, we have had 545 Fellows in 36 countries. This year, 48 recent college graduates (from 31 colleges and universities) are working with 31 organizations in 13 African countries.
