David Huntington is a partner in the Corporate Department of Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison in New York. Prior to joining Paul, Weiss, David served as counsel to Chairman William H. Donaldson and Chairman Christopher Cox of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in Washington, D.C. Prior to that, he served as senior counselor to the general counsel of the SEC. He has also served as an attorney-advisor in the general counsel’s office of the U.S. Department of the Treasury. David is also on the board of directors of the Regional Plan Association and is currently serving as president of Power Ten New York and chairman of the board of directors of Row New York. He is a graduate of Princeton University and Harvard Law School.

Fellow Bio:

Michael Broache graduated from Princeton in 2006 and went on to complete a one-year master’s program in international relations at Cambridge. At Princeton, Michael majored in the Woodrow Wilson School and wrote his thesis on police reform in Afghanistan. His master’s thesis explores why developing countries provide troops to UN peacekeeping operations. At Princeton, Michael rowed lightweight crew, was a member of the Opinion Board for The Prince, and was the alumni relations chairman at Cloister. At Cambridge he spent most of his free time at the river, either rowing or coaching. Michael will be headed to Kibondo, Tanzania, in August to start his fellowship with the International Rescue Committee.

Alumni Update:

Thomas is currently in his second year at NYU Law School. Since his fellowship, Thomas lived in Washington, DC for two years and then began law school in the fall of 2012.

Fellow Bio:

Thomas Dollar ’08 is a Woody Woo major from Troy, New York. A member of the Colonial Club, he has enjoyed IM sports and acting on stage. Some of his favorite roles include Roald Amundsen in “Terra Nova,” and Bradley in “Buried Child,” both at Theatre Intime. Tom enjoys Spanish and Latin American literature, and spent a semester in Buenos Aires. He enjoys hiking, skiing and camping in his free time. Tom looks forward to living and working in Freetown, Sierra Leone.

Shivani Radhakrishnan ’07 hails from Mt. Hope, NY. Her academic interests include philosophy, classics, and religion. Outside of the classroom, she enjoys dancing with Kalaa, being a fellow in the James Madison Program, and tutoring with the Student Volunteers Council. In her free time, Shivani likes to knit, watch Jimmy Stewart movies, and read outdoors. Shivani is excited to spend her summer in Uganda learning about the role of culture in international development.

Fellow Bio:

Nike Lawrence ’06 was an Operations Research and Financial Engineer major from Alexandria, VA. At Princeton, Nike was the Artistic Director for a tap dance group, a member of Cap and Gown Club, and a member of the National Society of Black Engineers. Since graduation, Nike has been working at Morgan Stanley in New York City doing research on hedge fund trends and has been a member of the steering committee for the Morgan Stanley Microfinance Forum. In her free time in the city, Nike enjoys dancing and playing the bass guitar. A native of Liberia, Nike is looking forward to returning to Africa. She is excited to be working in South Africa to understand the challenges and successes of the country’s social entrepreneurs.

Krista is a psychology major who was born and raised in Washington, DC. Her academic focus was social and cultural psychology. In her free time, she enjoys learning new languages (Swahili) and performing Middle Eastern dance with Raks Odalisque. Krista first traveled to Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, with her Swahili class in the summer after her junior year and she can’t wait to return. During her fellowship, she hopes to visit the friends she made last summer in addition to making new ones!

Fellow Bio:

Christina ’10 is an Ecology and Evolutionary Biology major from the Lower East Side of Manhattan. While at Princeton, she was an RCA for Butler College, an Eco-Rep, a volunteer GMT with the Turn W Squad, and earned a certificate in Neuroscience. During her free time, she enjoys jamming to music in her jammies and playing the tabla in drum circle. Through Princeton, Christina worked at the Krokobite Community Clinic in Ghana, volunteered at Madre Teresa Orphanage and CAASALT in Salvador, Brazil, and studied abroad in Beijing, China. While in Lesotho next year she can’t wait to fall in love with new foods, music, and maybe picking up a bit of the local language.
